This Sunday begins the best 21 days of your life. Take a few moments and read the fasting guide that will help you during this corporate fast. We are so looking forward to seeing lives changed, redeemed and becoming more like Jesus. Day one of our 21 days of prayer and fasting journey starts today. We are so excited to see all that God will do and to have you along the journey. Let’s start 2020 focused, clear-minded and ready.

Day One  – Vision

Romans 12:1-2

Today’s Prayer Point: Vision

Pray for the vision God has for humanity that all will be redeemed, His vision for your life and Redemption Church.

Father, I place my whole life on the altar as a living sacrifice. I embrace what you have done for me and what you continue to do in me. Help me to not simply go with the flow of the culture or routine around me but to be conscious today of your will in my life. Change me, Lord, from the inside out I pray. Amen.

Day Two  – Humility

Today’s Prayer Point:

“Lord, we pray for the heart position of humility. Not to cheapen our own worth but to understand that we are here for a greater purpose than ourselves. Highlight to us were we need to walk in humility so that others may know You.”

Also, stay up to date with all of our sermon series and listen to our latest episode.

Day Three – Provision

Today’s Prayer Point:

  • Provide more of your spirit in our lives.
  • Provide opportunities to tell others about you.
  • Provide resources to be a blessing to others.

We depend on your promises and we depend on you! Thank you head of time for meeting all of our needs.

Day Four – Wisdom

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance in all that we do. We can only focus on the present but only You know the future. So plan our path for us and help us make the best decisions for not only ourselves but for our family and everyone around us so that they will experience your redemption and Grace. Thank You for listening and hearing our prayers today, Amen.

Day Five – Unity

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord we thank you according to the power of God at work in us, that we are of the same spirit and mind, sympathizing with one another, and loving each other as one.

We’ll never return evil for evil, insult for insult, scolding, tongue lashing, and/or berating. But, on the contrary, we bless and pray for people’s welfare, joy, and protection. For we know this is why we have been called, that we may ourselves inherit blessings from God, obtain blessings as heirs, to bringing welfare and joy and protection to humanity.

Day Six: Gratitude

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, teach me to offer you a heart of gratitude and praise in all my life experiences. Teach me to be joyful always, to pray continually and to give thanks in all my circumstances. Break the power of the enemy in my life. Defeat Him through my sacrifice of praise and I’ll be quick to change my outlook and attitude into one of joy in all my circumstances. Thank You, Amen.

Day Seven – Comfort

Today’s Prayer Point:

Almighty God – You know everything that happens in our lives and there are people that are in a position right now that they dread the thought of having to face the future all alone. Please wrap Your arms of protection and comfort around them and use this as an opportunity to so how much of a gracious God you are. Thank You, Father, for always being there even when others are not. Help us no to be careless with the feelings but rather to show the love of Jesus in all I do.

Day Eight: Stewardship

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, the giver of life and the source of everything, we are reminded that Yours is “the earth in its fullness; the world and those who dwell in it.” We know that it is from your hand that we have received all we have and are and will be. We understand that you call us to be the stewards of Your abundance, the caretakers of all you have entrusted to us. Help us always to use your gifts wisely and teach us to share them generously. May our faithful stewardship bear witness to the love of Christ in our lives. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen

Day Nine – Joy

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, today I choose joy. I ask You to renew my spirit so I can see with a renewed outlook, a God-perspective on my life and circumstances. Restore the original joy I found when I first laid eyes on You. Make me new again. Set my feet to rejoice again. Fill me with good food and restore me to great friends who will help me walk this path with joy! Joy is Your will and Your way. I choose joy today and I wait expectantly as You fill me with the capacity for joy once again.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day Ten – Wholeness

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, we thank you for wholeness. You don’t just desire healing but wholeness. You desire for us to be whole in our mind, body, and spirit. This is the abundant life you promised. Life to the full until it overflows so we can help others. Today, we allow you into those areas that are protected due to past hurts, brokenness, disappointments, guilt, and shame so that we and others can experience redemption. We thank you in advance and have confidence that you do turn everything around for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day Eleven – Humanity

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, thank you that darkness vanishes over humanity as we pray. Thank you that it’s your kindness that leads humanity back to you. We pray that you will soften hearts and remove the spiritual blindness from their eyes and help them to understand the truth about You. Help us to let our light shine before men, that they may see my good deeds and glorify you. Show us how to show acts of love to them. We believe that You are working in their lives even as we pray. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day Twelve – Courage

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord we ask for Your courage in the struggles and difficulties of life that sometimes swirl all around us. We know that giving up is not an option you desire because what we face is not just against us but those who you want to rescue. We’re just the example of Your light for others. Give us the courage and strength to change our perspective to this understanding so that others will know Your goodness, love, and redemption. Thank You in Jesus name, Amen

Day Thirteen – Miracles

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, thank you that you never change and you delight in displaying miracles in all the world so that lives are redeemed. You are the miracle-working God. You turned water into wine. You restored sight to the blind and made the deaf hear. You made the lame walk. You healed the sick and raised the dead. You conquered death in your resurrection and you still do this today. We will be a people that believes and proclaims that you still are the God of miracles and we thank you for allowing us to testify this to others so that they will put their trust in You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Day Fourteen – Compassion

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, we commit to being a people of Your compassion wherever we go. Allow us to be as compassionate as the air we breathe. Give us the strength to help our neighbor; whether they fall by the wayside, experience loss, or just need help. Allow us to be a blessing to others as we travel through life’s journey and possess the same compassion you had towards people. It was that compassion that healed them all. Aid us in leaving an impact on the people that surrounds us. Change our hearts today and let hatred vanish in Your Holy presence. We declare and decree that we will follow the example Jesus has set before us. Amen.

Day Fifteen – Strength

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, we thank you for the strength you give from your word and presence over our lives. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper and every abusive word and cruel attack hurled our way you will condemn because greater are You who is in us than he who is in the world. We praise you that nothing is impossible with you and that You are loving and gracious, full of mercy and might. We trust in you alone to rise up strong on our behalf. Thank you that you are our defender and strong tower, our refuge and our strength. Thank you that you fight for us today, and in our weakness, you make us strong so that we can be a light to others. In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

Day Seventeen: Direction

Today’s Prayer Point:

Lord, we know that You have promised that if we acknowledge You in all our ways You will direct our path and make them straight. You have also promised to keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You. Help us not to be afraid or discouraged when the way we take gets steep and rugged – for with You as our guide, we will not fear. Thank you that you promised to order our steps and to uphold us with Your righteous right hand. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Day Eighteen: More Like Jesus

Today’s Prayer Point:
More Like Jesus

Lord, we are called to abide in You, to rest in your love, and to depend upon You in all things, knowing that You alone are the true and living Vine – so that our lives might bear much fruit and glorify You. We pray that by the power of Your Holy Spirit we may remain firmly connected to You and that we willingly submit to Your perfect pruning knife, so that any part of us that is not of You, may be trimmed away so that we are enabled to grow in grace and maturity. Reveal any bad attitudes, foolish thoughts or wrong motives that may start to formulate in our mind which may hinder our growth or infect our spiritual life that ultimately will restrict our ability to tell others about You. Thanks Jesus that You promised that we will do greater works to bring light to all darkness. In Your name, Amen.

Day Nineteen: Fruit of the Spirit

Today’s Prayer Point:
Fruit of the Spirit

Lord, we humbly request that the Fruit of the Spirit You have planted within us grows and blossoms into a revival. Allow us to display these attributes so that Your people would see You within us and want to know You more. Lead us in this path. Cover us under Your precious blood, so that Your fruit would allow us to withstand the works of the devil. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Day Twenty: Our City

Today’s Prayer Point:
Our City

Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit will identify the key issues for prayer for your city. We pray for corporate unity throughout the city. That churches will come together in unity and offer a prayer for your city. We pray that the eyes of the spiritual leaders would be enlightened to understand the corporate destiny of your city. We pray that the Hannahs, Esthers, Joshuas, Davids, Deborahs, Jaels and Baraks of your city would rise up. We pray for believers in your city to be passionate instead of passive and we pray that the Church in your city will see a release of the miraculous so that the city may know that You are filled with grace, truth, and love. Amen.

Day Twenty One:  Celebration of Victory.

Today’s Prayer Point:
Hi Reward

The Reward of His Suffering” is based on a quote…[that] became a rallying cry for the Moravian Missionary Movement in the 1700s. And the phrase was “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of his suffering.” So it was the worthiness of Christ that drove tons of missionary movement and zeal. The story that popularized the phrase is that two young men were compelled to go to an island and share the gospel with people who hadn’t heard it before. They weren’t sure how they were going to get there so they decided to sell themselves into slavery. They made the decision to go, said goodbye to their family and friends—they were planning on leaving forever—and they got a ship and set out. As the ship was pulling away one of the men raised his arm and said, “May the Lamb who was slain receive the reward of his suffering.” It was an epic moment for seeing how the worthiness of Christ drives people to surrender. This became the call of Moravian missions. And this is our only reason for being…that the Lamb that was slain may receive the reward of His suffering! Amen.
